We Are Here! We Are Here! Nov 3rd 5:00 PM (HKG Time)

We have been here since last night around 8 pm. It is now 5 pm on Saturday which is 5 am to all of you back home! So far we have walked around Kowloon, stopped at a 7-11 (they have bottle water called Sweat) and I bought cuttle fish and pepper potato chips, lol. Did not realize that they were cuttlefish flavor till after I ate one. I went to bed at midnight and woke up at 1 am, then back to sleep and woke up at 4 am could not fall back to sleep. We took a tour today, visited the Stanley Market(bought Lotus a Chop stamp), Aberdeen Harbour, took a Pan tam (boat) ride and were able to see the fisherman, also went to Victoria Peak, all very breath taking. Tall Tall buildings! We had lunch at the Jade Restuarant next to the Hotel with the entire group. Alot of Dim Sum. All very good! Afterwards Kevin and I took a taxi to the CMTA to check out some toy stores for Ultraman stuff. Very small and crowded stores. I was starting to not be able to breath, but managed to survive, for those that do not know I do not like small places. Now we are back in the hotel. Later tonight we are going down to the Harbour to see the laser light show and then tomorrow we leave for GZ at 10:45 am. It will be a quick plane ride, not like the one to HKG, almost 16 hrs, and the ambien only lasted for 4 hours! I did get to watch the same three episodes of CSI, CSI Miami, and CSI NY. Kevin watched the Simpson Movie and Transformers. (Flying Continental was a good choice, not bad at all, fed us well)

So we have about a day and a half till we meet Lotus. I still cannot believe we are in HKG! It is an amazing city. Will post photos later, only purchased 3 hours for $100 , yes $100 Hong Kong Dollars! When we went to the starbucks, it was $60 for 2 lattes, it takes some getting use to the HKG dollar compared to US dollar. Tomorrow we will be getting use to the Chinese dollar or the RMB. Whew! Needless to say we are very excited to be here!

Deb and Kevin,
I'm following your journey from good old Wallingford. I love that you are sharing this with us. How very exciting... Can't wait to read more. We change the clocks back tonight. You will be on your way home with your daughter before you know it.

Forget sleeping. There will be plenty of time for that when Lotus wears you out once you are back in the state.

Will check back later.
