A few weeks ago Lotus decided to kiss the sidewalk. It was not so pretty. I am not sure what happened as I was not watching her (neither was her daddy). Today her nose and lip look alot better, just a red mark where it is not tan anymore. Hopefully that will go away before her birthday party in a week! Thank you Jace for sharing your boo-boo too, Lotus appreciates to know she is not alone.

Oh...now I want to come and give Lotus a kiss too!!! I am glad she is feeling better. That is the worst feeling as a parent...when they get hurt!

Poor Lotus. When we received Emma on Gotcha day, she had a burn on her cheek that was a couple months old. The scar was very visible. We knew that she had been hurt and had a scar on her cheek so we brought with us, Vitamin D caplets, opened them up and put the Vitamin D ointment from them right on the scar. It worked. You can hardly see the scar anymore.

Ouch! Ella falls all the time...sometimes I look at her and wonder if she ever had to navigate around furniture at her orphanage because she walks like everywhere is an open space.
Hope that cute little face heals soon Lotus
Those sidewalks always get in the way!
Sarah had her incident on vacation and it healed very quickly, I am sure Lotus will heal by her party!
What a cutie....still a great big smile even with the little boo boo!

Ohhhhh, Lotus! Save your kisses for Mommy and Daddy -- the sidewalk just bites you back!!
Still a cute pic, Deb. I just can't believe how grown up she is -- and how fast her hair is growing!!
Not many people can pull off a look like that one...
Teresa =)
P.S. Carson wants to wish "his girl" a Happy Birthday, too!
Poor Lotus! She looks so sweet in this picture with her little boo boo nose.
